TEREX DEALER FRAMATEQ CELEBRATES SALE OF TEREX® TR100 RIGID TRUCKS IN SOUTHEAST FRANCE

PARIS, France, 14/06/2013 – Framateq Southeast, the Terex distributor for the PACA and Languedoc Roussillon regions in France, recently organized a handover ceremony on April 24 to celebrate the delivery of two of the biggest Terex machines, the TR100 rigid truck, to Someca (Société Méridionale de Carrières), which includes Colas, Cemex and Garrassin.

Hervé Louvion, CEO of Framateq, and Alain Foisse, Operations Director of Someca, organized the event, which included a visit to the Catalane Quarry to see the arduous terrain the TR100s will be operating in.

Hervé Louvion commented: "In 2009, we sold a Terex TA400 articulated dump truck to Someca. Clearly, the quality of the customer support and of the after-sales service of Framateq Southeast, along with his visit to the Terex factory in Motherwell, Scotland, won over Alain Foisse. We were keen to bring together all the people who played a part in ensuring the success of this project as this kind of sale does not happen every day in our region. The attendance of Mr Etienne Lalande, Sales Director for Terex Construction France, shows the common desire we share with Terex to demonstrate our expertise in customer service and our support of the quarrying industry.

Etienne Lalande added: "We are delighted to see our dealers achieving success through repeat business as this shows that the service given and the quality of our machines have met our customer’s expectation. The delivery of these two TR100s is the result of genuine teamwork between dealer and manufacturer, in terms of both the quality and performance of the Terex dumper and of the local service, technical skills and spare parts of this locally-based dealership. All of this was done with the satisfaction of our end users in mind.”
