History

In 1967 the Potain & Poclain joined the lifting and hydraulics technologies forming PPM. In 1967 the first crane was created. In 1981 PPM widened its activity with the launch of the stacker. In 1995 the company became a part of Terex Corporation.

Large Reach, Compact Design

Terex uses its plant in France in order to build cranes with ideal proportions: extremely compact, but equipped with long main booms. These outstanding features can be found both in the truck cranes and in the all-terrain cranes that are manufactured here. The plant is also responsible for the highly sought-after Terex container stackers, which have acquired a worldwide reputation for their unparalleled performance in logistics operations. The impressive history of this plant began in 1967 with an unusual collaboration between two renowned construction machine manufacturers. Today, Terex is the only crane manufacturer that produces mobile cranes and container stackers in France.

Production

Telescopic Boom Truck Cranes with a maximum lifting capacity of 8-68 t (metric) / 9-75 tons (US). The machines are ideal for on highway lifting solutions that can be driven between projects. They are used in variety of construction applications.

Container Stackers with a maximum lifting capacity from 45 tons in first row to 37 tons in third row (pile-up capacity). They are used to move shipping containers.

All Terrain Cranes with a maximum lifting capacity of 40-60 t (metric) / 44-66 tons (US). It is very versatile crane that can be used for a wide range of lifting needs in a variety of terrain (off and on the highway) and then quickly moved to another job.
