e-commerce for Aftermarket Orders - Terex Dealers
This course will allow our Terex Dealers that use TMS e-commerce for aftermarket orders to take advantage of all the benefits it’s designed to deliver, including: searching for items by Item Number or Description; using Direct Item Entry; using the parts catalog, adding, modifying, and removing items from a Shopping Cart and Shopping List; placing orders; and viewing and tracking orders, invoices, and payments.
This course is currently available in English, and is delivered using Adobe Flash.
e-commerce for Machine Orders - Terex Dealers
This course will allow our Terex Dealers that use TMS e-commerce for machine orders to take advantage of all the benefits it’s designed to deliver, including: configuring machines, copying machine configurations, adding, modifying, and removing items from a Shopping Cart and Shopping List; placing orders; and viewing and tracking orders, invoices, and payments.
This course is currently available in English and is delivered using Adobe Flash.
iSupport (for Dealers)
In this course, you will be shown examples of the specific steps to use in TMS iSupport for accessing and navigating iSupport, personalizing the iSupport home page, searching for Service Requests, working with Service Requests, and searching for Solutions via the Knowledge Base.
This course is currently available in English, and uses the Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK) to provide a simulated system environment. TMS Training Simulations that use UPK offer Terex Dealers the ability to practice their TMS skills in a practice mode using several different playback modes.
See It! Mode - enables a user to learn by watching an animated demonstration of the steps for a task being performed in a simulated environment. All of the required activities, such as moving the mouse and entering data, are completed automatically.
Try It! Mode - enables a user to learn interactively in a simulated environment. The user is prompted for mouse clicks and/or keystrokes to complete the task. (playback mode recommended by Terex Education and Training)
Know It? Mode - an assessment-type playback mode in which users are instructed to complete a particular task. Users do not receive step-by-step instructions for completing a task. Instead, they complete the steps on their own in a simulated environment, and they are scored on how accurately they complete them.
How to Review a Training Simulation
Click “Begin the UPK course” in the link below to open the training simulation. After the simulation has loaded, expand the menu tree on the left side of the screen to locate a topic to review. Once a topic has been located, select the desired playback mode (See It!, Try It!, Know It?) from the top-right portion of the window. The simulation for the selected topic will begin. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the simulation. Repeat this process, as necessary to review additional course topics, or the same course topic in a different mode.
After reviewing the training simulation, dealers can download the associated Course Manuals and Job Aids available for the course for future reference.
