Construction Waste Recycling Equipment

Portable and stationary construction waste recycling equipment

CBI's extremely rugged and durable machines make them ideal for construction waste recycling. CBI’s Grizzly Mill is known as the heavyweight champion of the wood-waste industry and has been the backbone of CBI's biomass recovery systems since 1988. Construction and Demolition Recycling debris generation is expected to double world-wide by 2025, according to a report by Construction and Demolition Recycling Magazine. More importantly, key determinants of debris generation in the United States indicate that the need for construction debris recycling will continue to grow. Increase in new construction is a positive indicator for demand generation in the wood-waste recycling industry, as seen by long-time CBI stationary systems customer, LEDR, who saw larger inbound debris volume following the 2016 construction boom in St. Louis.

The CBI Road-Mill is the first portable grinder that CBI ever built. It first went into service in 1991 for Hurricane Andrew cleanup and still runs today at Ingerson Transportation. Today, CBI’s Horizontal Grinders are still some of the first ones on the scene for hurricane cleanup. In 2005 Hurricane Katrina contributed an incredible increase in the annual C&D volume – and industry experts logically turned to CBI for the most aggressive and productive means of processing this material.
