CANTON, S.D., U.S.A, April, 2018. Since 1961, Terex Bid-Well has been an industry leader in the development and manufacture of a complete line of versatile and specialized concrete paving machines for the bridge and highway construction market.
“Personalized service is one of the “Unique Selling Propositions” of Terex Bid-Well, leading to strong customer satisfaction” says Christal Dietzenbach, site director for Terex Bid-Well. More than 50 Terex Bid-Well customers have been trained over two weeks at the annual Terex Bid-Well service school which took place in Canton, South Dakota. This event is held over two days, hosted by the experienced Service Department.
The first day consisted of classroom work topics, including machine setup and paving procedures, bridge paving, street and airport paving, thin bonded overlays, texture cure applications and special applications for example canals and slope paving. Day two was highlighted by a hands-on machine setup and concrete pour. During the hands on session the Terex Bid-Well Service Department gave customers time-saving tips and tricks to get the most out of their Terex Bid-Well paving equipment. While paving a 30ft x 65ft concrete slab, students were shown proper techniques and adjustments to make to achieve a uniform and consistent finish.
