The Terex Response to COVID-19

Terex Corporation is proactively dealing with the challenges presented by COVID-19.  We continue to serve our customers around the world with machines, parts, and services despite the obstacles.

Terex Values

Guided by our Terex Way values, our team members are working to serve our customers while following strict preventive guidelines to ensure safety.  We are shipping equipment.  Parts operations and customer service, parts fabrication, service centers, logistics and shipping operations are running.  We are serving customers through a number of channels, including parts.terex.com for Materials Processing businesses, gogenielift.com for Genie, utilitiesparts.terex.com for Terex Utilities, and Terex Service Centers, call centers and other flexible delivery alternatives.

Safety First

We are following stringent precautions to keep our team members safe. From the earliest days of the outbreak, Terex has been implementing the advice and guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization as well as following local country directives and guidance. Many team members are working remotely. For those working on-site, we are following recommended preventive protocols including health and thermal checks, face coverings, distancing, reducing team member concentration, disinfecting surfaces, sending team members home if they feel ill, and following guidelines for quarantine and other steps to keep the work environment safe.

Manufacturing

After temporarily suspending manufacturing at many of our facilities in response to reduced customer demand and government requirements or requests, we have globally resumed manufacturing, safely, in compliance with local mandates, and in response to customer demand.

Customer Service

Every day, our field service team is continuing to meet the needs of our customers. Our call centers have remained operational throughout the pandemic. Technicians are supporting customers and others virtually and on site as needed.

Resilient Supply Chain

Terex sources materials from around the world and our supply chain is flexible and resilient. From the outset of the COVID-19 outbreak, our supply chain teams ensured that our factories received the components and materials needed to maintain uninterrupted production. As markets have returned, supply chains have been stressed in many parts of the world.  Terex is working to ensure timely supply of materials to meet manufacturing schedules based on increasing customer demand.
