Terex Ecotec Set to Impress and Make Big Impact at IFAT 2018
An industry leader in the design and manufacture of wood processing, biomass and recycling equipment, Terex Ecotec have achieved significant growth and development in recent years and today offer a world class, full mobile product portfolio of chipping, shredding, screening and composting equipment. Terex Ecotec are putting final plans in place ahead of their attendance at IFAT, the industry event for environmental technologies taking place in Munich from 14th – 18th May, where they will be showcasing their global product offerings and new innovations to a truly global audience.
Continually striving to introduce new technology to the market and as part of their new product development strategy Terex Ecotec will be launching the new TBG 630 High Speed Shredder later in the year. This machine will be unveiled at IFAT where visitors will have the opportunity to see it up close and in action during the live VDMA working demonstrations taking place daily. Powered by a 661HP V8 Scania engine, the TBG 630 has been designed to give operators unrivalled production rates and ease of maintenance. The open fronted feeder uses heavy duty drag chains, a powerful feed wheel and an unrestricted feeder design to effectively utilise the 1,100mm diameter x 1,750mm wide swinging hammer rotor. This robust rotor comes with a wide selection of hammer designs and customisable screens which ensure end product material specification is met. Metal contaminants are always a concern when using a high speed machine; the TBG 630 has an intelligent screen opening system to quickly discharge such contaminants reducing the risk of accidental damage. The unique machine layout and maintenance catwalks offer operators unrestricted access to both sides of the engine making servicing a simple task. Industry leading conveyor discharge height of 5.1m maximises stockpile capacity and allows loader operators to easily remove processed material. The TBG 630 excels in all high speed applications and is particularly well suited to waste wood processing and green waste shredding.
The latest in Slow Speed Shredder technology, the TDS 820, will take centre stage on Terex Ecotec’s eye catching stand 327/426, ideally located in Hall B5. Here visitors will have the opportunity to see first-hand the TDS 820 which is purpose built to process all types of material. Featuring customisable shredding programs, operators have the opportunity to configure the machine to their specific requirements, reduce material wrapping and maximise production. Designed with independently-driven shafts, this double-shaft slow speed shredder is assured to give operators excellent performance in even the most challenging of applications.
On static display and positioned between Halls B5 & B6 will be the highly versatile TTS 620 wheeled trommel, with a 2 metre diameter drum and advanced hydraulic control it will be sure to capture the attention of passing visitors. With an easy change drum system and swing out engine cradle the TTS 620 is one of the most user friendly trommels on the market today.
Terex Ecotec look forward to meeting with existing and potential customers at IFAT, representatives with vast product and application knowledge will be available to discuss specific requirements and the comprehensive product range available.
