Terex® Environmental Equipment launches the NEW Terex® Recycling Spaleck Screen

Farwell, Michigan, April, Terex Environmental Equipment launches the new Terex Recycling Spaleck Screen 1st April 2014.

The NEW Terex Recycling Spaleck Screen is the ultimate in mobile screening and separation technology. At the heart of the screen is the 2 deck German designed and constructed high performance recycling waste screen with Flip-Flow-Screen Elastica. The unique stepped top deck design combined with state of the art flip flow technology on the bottom deck catapults the Terex Recycling Screen into a class of its own.

Martin Dummigan, TEE global business line director, said: “Its processing capabilities and application flexibility make the machine the only all in one mobile solution for the processing and separation of recycling materials such as incineration slag, shredder light and heavy fraction, scrap metal, electronic scrap, C & D waste, C & I, bulky waste, compost, plastic fractions, biomass and topsoil. We believe this machine will set new standards globally and a lot of enthusiasm has been shown from our distributors and customers.”

The screenbox has a top deck of 4.8m x 1.5m and a bottom deck of 3.6m x 1.5m. The 3D Combi Flip-Flow Screen in the center of the mobile plant guarantees that the product is optimally loosened and turned over on the upper deck. Even large grained material can be screened on a screening machine with a Flip-Flow screen deck. The screening deck with the 3D screen segments, which is positioned above the Flip Flow screen deck to form a cascade, protects and reduces the stress on the Flip Flow screen mats. The benefit of this is that their service life is increased and optimal screening results are guaranteed.

Another benefit is that the 3D screen segments with maximum open screen area can be changed quickly and simply thanks to the modular construction.

The screen mats of the Flip-Flow screen are fastened without screws and have no edges that could cause difficulties. This means that the screen mats can be changed quickly and there is an optimal product flow on the screen mats.

The screenbox can be hydraulically adjusted to an angel between 13 degrees – 19 degrees.

The hopper capacity is 7m3 with a steel plan apron feeder of 1000mm with hydraulic variable speed.

The Terex Recycling Spaleck Screen offers three conveyers, fines, middle grade and oversize. The fines conveyor with variable speed has a standard discharge height of 3.63m with an extended discharge height of 4.35m and optional telescopic section. The Middle grade conveyor has a standard discharge height of 3.19m with an optional discharge height of 3.9m, again with variable speed and optional telescopic section. The oversize conveyer has a discharge height of 3.6m.

The Terex Recycling Spaleck Screen can be powered by a Tier III/Stage IIIA-compliant Cat C4.4 ATAAC – 4 cylinder diesel engine or a Tier IVi/Stage 3B Cat C4.4 cylinder diesel engine which is designed to run at 2200 rpm.

The machine weighs 30,000kgs (66,138 lbs) with a standard machine configuration estimated.
