Franna AT22 Assembles ProStack Conveyor In USA
ProStack distribution partners, Powerscreen New England, recently took receipt of their first Telson 42 telescopic conveyor. The 140’ (42m) long conveyor was assembled at their yard in Connecticut using a Franna AT22 pick and carry crane.
The assembly of the Telson 42 conveyor was made easy thanks to the manoeuvrability and flexibility of the AT22 pick and carry crane. With a total approximate weight of 27,000kg (59,525lbs) the Franna AT22 made light work of the different sections that made up the Telson 42 and allowed the team at Powerscreen New England to assemble the telescopic conveyor safely and easily.
Seamus Sheelan, President of Powerscreen New England, spoke enthusiastically about these machines saying “when you have an AT22 crane, assembling your newly arrived Telson 42 is a piece of cake. We’re now looking forward to putting this 800tph conveyor to work stockpiling New England rock”.
The Telson 42 telescopic conveyor is available in pit portable or road towable variants and is suited to ports, terminals, quarry and aggregate applications. A stockpile height of 47’ (14m) and 270° of radial movement allows this telescopic conveyor to reach stockpile capacities of approximately 72,920 Cu.Yd. (55,750m3).
The AT22 is a mid-sized, mobile pick and carry crane with a maximum lifting capacity of 22 tonne (24 USt). It boasts extensive safety features that offer ‘real-time’ lifting calculations, assessing boom and chassis configuration enabling continual assessment of structural limitations and stability.
