The machine is characterized by its compact dimensions and a tight turning radius, which makes maneuvering child’s play – even in confined spaces. The hydraulic and electronic components as well as the diesel engine can be easily reached from the ground. Numerous protective devices have been installed for the best possible protection of the components and passengers. The front right ram protection, which protects the water and intercooler against "cold deformation", as well as the newly designed timber cab guard in the front and roof, stand out in particular. Wherever possible, many components were installed in places where they were as protected as possible from damage, for example from logs.

An absolutely unique selling point in this machine class is the original "Fuchs Timber Boom". Because it is positioned well behind the center of rotation, the MHL434 F offers excellent all-round visibility. This advantage is particularly evident when looking through the right side window. The field of vision here is not disturbed by a boom. This is an invaluable advantage in day-to-day work and especially when driving.
