46th Annual Hands-On Training

August 20-22, 2024

Training to be held August 20nd - 22th in Watertown, SD.

Terex Utilities' Annual Hands-On Program has truly evolved over the years. The program provides essential training on the operation and application of Terex Telelect Digger Derricks and Terex Hi-Ranger Aerial Devices. The program is designed for customers as well as distributor personnel to participate and understand the proper operation of the equipment. Participants will gain valuable training on the application of the equipment to meet various jobsite requirements, as well as an understanding of work methods and safety procedures.

Reaping the full benefits of Terex Utilities and Hi-Ranger equipment must include a clear understanding of its designed operation. Whether your job is behind a desk or in energized 345 kV lines, this program will provide a valuable experience. Past customer attendees have included Fleet Managers, Fleet Engineers, Safety Managers and Administrators, Motor Vehicles Supervisors, Fleet Shop Managers, Linemen, Mechanics, and more.

The three-day Hands On program is systematically arranged using six training stations setup at our outdoor training facility. Participants at each station operate the equipment and perform actual jobs under direct supervision of Terex Trainers. In addition, the trainers demonstrate other operations and procedures not covered at the stations such as pole removal techniques, multi-parting winch line lifting, proper equipment set-up, and more.
