TWS Host Global Team Event

Terex Washing Systems (TWS) team members from around the world came together to attend its Global Team Event, held last month at the Ryandale, in the Moy, Northern Ireland.

The event, which was the first time that the TWS global team came together, provided a dedicated time to meet and network with each other. The day consisted of a business update from Oliver Donnelly, Business Line Director for TWS, and included a range of break-out sessions to discuss modern technologies that are changing the face of our industry, including VR, AR and 3D printing. During this time, the team also had the opportunity to talk about what it takes to be an industry leader and the workplace environment, sharing opinions and experiences with each other. The event also enabled some team members to see the latest TWS installations in Enniskillen and Dublin.

The event made time for important lifestyle topics, such as health and wellness, mental well-being and communication skills, with external speakers presenting and encouraging dialogue on these areas. The Terex Way Value of Citizenship was demonstrated with a donation of £250 made to the Naoimh Louise Foundation. The Foundation, which provides a safe environment where anyone can drop in to chat about worrying thoughts, thoughts of suicide and/ or self-harm, delivered a presentation on 'Mental Health, Self-Harm and Suicide Prevention' to relay the importance of this topic to the team.

The event concluded with an evening dinner and fitting celebration of team member Justin Donnelly’s 50 years’ service. Justin’s family members joined the TWS team to enjoy the festivities.

Oliver Donnelly, Business Line Director, TWS said, “It was terrific to be able to come together as a team to connect with each other, share experiences, learnings and business plans for the future, and make the time for some important health and wellbeing dialogue as well. It was also an ideal time to celebrate Justin Donnelly’s 50 years’ service. Justin is a much-loved member of the team, with not only an insurmountable amount of knowledge and experience, but who greets team members and customers alike with a friendly smile and willingness to help. The global team event was a fitting celebration of Justin’s contribution to our team when we could all be there to celebrate with him. A big thanks to all those who travelled to attend and participate in our Global Team Event, and a particular thanks to Elaine Donaghy and Linda Connolly for their valuable organisational input.”
