In 2023, Genie’s manufacturing facility in Monterrey, Mexico, earned the prestigious Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification from the US Green Buildings Council (USGBC).

While our operations do not heavily depend on water, Terex remains committed to responsible water stewardship by regularly reviewing our practices, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency, implementing water conservation initiatives, and educating team members about mindful water use.
Waste Management
Our commitment to environmental sustainability includes focusing on waste reduction. We recognize that minimizing waste sent to landfills is important to achieving our broader sustainability goals, especially in the context of climate change mitigation. Responsible Procurement Practices

 

 

We are steadfast in our commitment to responsible procurement practices. We assess suppliers’ sustainable practices, including the ways in which they support the protection of human rights. We expect our suppliers to be socially, legally, and ethically responsible. All suppliers must uphold human rights, labor, health and safety, environmental management, and business ethics practices that are outlined in our Supplier Code of Conduct.

 

Our 2024 Terex Prohibits Modern Slavery Statement affirms our zero tolerance for slavery, servitude, human trafficking, or child and forced labor in our supply chains. We have systems in place, as outlined in our Conflict Minerals Policy, 2024 Conflict Minerals Report, and  Supplier Code of Conduct, to comply with conflict minerals reporting requirements.
