Waste wood comes from a variety of sources including construction, demolition and manufacturing. It is often separated at source but can also arise from sorting processes of other mixed waste streams. There are several different outlets for waste wood products with the largest being as a biomass fuel for energy production. It can also be used for reprocessing chipboard, MDF or as a bedding product for agriculture.
