Advance Team Members Saves Owl

Team members in the Terex Advance Aftermarket Parts warehouse noticed an owl sitting on top of a pile of fenders.

Being the middle of the morning and very bright outside, it seemed odd that the owl was not nesting. Amid all the picture snapping, team member Wayne Rosenogle was able to search for a local rescue, Soarin' Hawk, who arrived at the plant shortly thereafter. Soarin' Hawks' Ross Eagleson informed the team that they were witnessing a Great Horned Owl. Common in Indiana but not common to be out at this point of the day. He suspected at first that he may have a broken wing as during the rescue he was not trying to fly away. The Owl was netted and taken to the rescue's ICU for further evaluation. Checking back with Ross later in the day he stated that the Owl did not have significant injuries but was severely dehydrated.

Thank you to all Terex Advance team members involved who showed compassion and citizenship to the local wildlife whose homes surround their manufacturing plant.
