ADVANCE®, a Terex brand and manufacturer of concrete delivery equipment, will debut its new Trainer Cab and display the FDCB500 concrete mixer at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, March 3–7, in Central Hall, Booth C30314. The exhibit will focus on equipment designed to support driver training, fleet utilization, and jobsite operation.

The ADVANCE Trainer Cab is designed to support mixer driver training by providing instructors with greater operational oversight during instruction. Traditional ride-along training limits an instructor’s ability to demonstrate techniques or intervene directly. The Trainer Cab includes an integrated control panel and instructor joystick that allow trainers to monitor truck functions and assume control when necessary. This configuration enables real-time coaching and controlled intervention during complex manoeuvres.

The cab is equipped with two full-size air-ride seats to accommodate both trainee and instructor during extended sessions. When not in use for training, the vehicle operates as a standard delivery truck, allowing it to remain in regular fleet service.

“Training mixer truck drivers requires more than observation,” said Dave Grabner, General Manager at ADVANCE. “The Trainer Cab provides instructors with direct operational access so they can guide drivers and intervene when appropriate.”

Also on display will be the FDCB500 front-discharge concrete mixer. The FDCB500 maintains the same batching height as standard rear-discharge mixers, allowing integration into existing plants without infrastructure modification. It features a 32-foot outer bridge length and is rated for a 9-yard Federal Bridge capacity. A reduced turning radius supports manoeuvrability in confined jobsites, and a low center of gravity contributes to vehicle stability. The design also incorporates revised ingress and egress features intended to improve cab access throughout the workday.

“We look forward to participating in CONEXPO-CON/AGG and engaging directly with producers and contractors about their operational requirements,” Grabner said. “Events like this provide an opportunity to demonstrate equipment capabilities and discuss how our products fit into existing fleet and plant operations.”
