Terex MPS Hosts Exclusive Black Badge Tactical Training Event

January 06, 2026

Terex MPS recently launched their new Black Badge Tactical Training focused on Vibratory equipment at its Durand facility, bringing together a select group of new sales professionals from its distribution network for an intensive program designed to empower dealers with knowledge and confidence in vibratory screens and feeders. Russ Burns, Sales Director, noted "We felt the knowledge gap throughout the industry on vibratory equipment needed attention, we designed this program to utilize our vast experience to help build the next generation of sales representatives to strengthen our commitment to the industry".

The program combined engaging classroom instruction with hands-on experience. Attendees explored the comprehensive Cedarapids and Simplicity product portfolios, competitive advantages, screening principles, and common application mistakes through a detailed slide presentation. The highlight of the event was practical training in the new “VIPER” shed, where participants conducted vibratory tests on a screen mounted on a test stand—providing real-world insights they can apply in the field.

Adding further value, the session featured a guest speaker, Rob Lawlor, Sales Manager at Screen Systems (Canada), a respected industry advocate for Simplicity and Cedarapids screens. Rob shared his extensive experience with vibratory products, offering compelling stories, videos, and practical sales tips to help attendees elevate their approach.

"The event reinforced our commitment to dealer success and product expertise, reaffirming our role as experts in vibratory equipment", noted Russ.
