Last week, our team came together to recognise some truly outstanding male role models at MDS. To mark International Men’s Day, we invited everyone to nominate colleagues who consistently go above and beyond making a real difference in our workplace.
Here’s a little about why each nominee was chosen as a positive role model:
Norman O’Neill: Always raising awareness for mental health, encouraging open conversations, and standing up for what’s right. Known for a great work ethic, sense of humour, and boosting team morale.
- Marijus Zdanavicius: Nominated for the second year running for championing wellbeing and supporting flexible working.
- Carl Dunn: For his warm smile, positive attitude, hardworking nature and willingness to help others. A person who shows leadership and courage and offers advice in times of need.
- Steven Keenan: Approachable, supportive, and always ready to help. Champions progression and good mental health, making it easy for others to be open and honest.
- Nicky McNeill: The driving force behind site transformation, setting high standards and helping the team reach their goals. Focused on safety, engagement, and career growth, and an advocate for celebrating achievements. Achieved 100% engagement from direct reports for employee feedback!
