Terex Advance Showcase New Mini-Mix

Terex Advance attended the 15th Annual National Ready Mix Concrete Association’s (NRMCA) Concrete Works show at the Gaylord Palms Convention Center, Kissimmee, Florida.

The week-long event consisted of leadership development sessions, industry expert keynotes and the National Mixer Drivers Championship.

Terex Advance brought two trucks to exhibit at the conference and rodeo: the newly launched Mini-Mix was displayed in their booth (the first in-person showcase of the truck) and the FD4000 was entered into the rodeo portion of the event for drivers to compete with.

Approximately 75 drivers from across the US entered the competition to be named the top Mixer Driver. The Terex Advance team was delighted that two of the top five finishers drove one of the Terex Advance trucks in the competition!

John Leech, General Manager of Terex Advance said, "Concrete Works is a great opportunity to showcase our products, connect with industry professionals and discuss equipment solutions that meet their organization’s goals. A big win for Terex Advance and for our customer Maschmeyer Concrete Company, was coming third and fourth place in the rodeo competition!"

Damion Wynter, from the Apollo Beach, Florida plant took 3rd place while reigning champion Luis Martinez, from the Orlando, Florida plant took 4th.

Both drivers competed and drive daily in the Terex Advance mixer truck. Luis noted how exciting it was for him to view our prototype cab at the rodeo in 2018, compete and win in 2019, and then compete and place fourth in the brand-new truck and cab in the year, 2021.

Well done to the Terex Advance team on a successful showing of the new Mini-Mix!
