Terex Advance was delighted to take part in Fort Wayne’s well-attended annual Touch-A-Truck event on April 29th, 2023, at Ivy Tech Community College.

Touch-a-Truck is a free family event sponsored by the Early Childhood Education Program in partnership with the Office of Student Life, and INAEYC. Families are invited to explore a variety of larger-than-life trucks and heavy machinery.

The popularity of the Terex Advance mixer truck on display was evident in the line-up of children to “touch the truck” for the entire event. Under supervision by Alex Berghoff (Regional Sales Manager) and Cari Mansfield (HSE Manager), children got to sit in the truck and honk the horn. They also received candy and Terex Advance merchandise. 

Cari Mansfield, HSE Manager at Terex Advance said, “As in previous years, we were delighted to participate in Touch-A-Truck. We take a lot of pride in our mixer trucks, and the event is an ideal opportunity for us to engage with local families, explain who we are and what we produce, right here in Fort Wayne. It was terrific to see the smiles on the kids’ faces and their interest and curiosity in exploring our mixer truck, which was a big hit—we were told that it had the loudest horn!”
