Success for Franna at CICA 2019 in Hunter Valley

CICA Team

Franna®, Australia’s leading manufacturer of mobile pick and carry cranes recently took part in the 2019 CICA Conference, Exhibition & Crane Display. The three day event was held on 17-19 October at the Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley, NSW.

In the crane display area, Franna showcased two of their new AT 40 units and a MAC 25-4 fitted with a superlift option. The AT 40 proved to be the star of the show, catching the eye of almost everyone who had the opportunity to visit the display area. The latest machine options for both cranes were also introduced at CICA, with the intuitive new spreader bar concept impressing many delegates due to its ease of use.

Kieran Hegarty, Terex Materials Processing President participated in the manufacturers’ panel where he addressed numerous industry related questions and revealed international exporting ambitions for the Franna brand. Michael Atherden, Principal Engineer at Franna delivered a technical presentation on pick and carry innovation and how Franna continue to innovate to bring benefits to their customers.

Dermot McCracken, Franna Marketing Manager reflects on a successful event “With over 400 delegates including crane owners, operators and industry professionals, CICA 2019 provided us with the perfect platform to relaunch the iconic Franna brand and showcase our new AT 40. The decision to bring back the Franna name has proven to be very popular with our customers and dealers and we are absolutely delighted with the feedback we received on our AT 40 throughout the show.”

The Franna team would like to thank everyone who joined them at CICA 2019 and look forward to CICA 2020 in Perth.
