MAGNA Expands Presence Across West Africa

MAGNATM, the Terex brand established to meet the needs of large-scale operations, is pleased to announce PowerX as its new distributor for West Africa. Effective immediately, Power X will deliver full-service support and tailored equipment solutions to customers across the quarrying, mining and construction sectors throughout Senegal, The Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Togo, Benin and Nigeria.

The appointment marks an important step extending the reach of MAGNA's high-capacity crushing, screening and conveying equipment into a region where investment in quarrying, aggregates production, infrastructure development and mining continues to create demand for larger-scale, high-output solutions.

MAGNA MT6S Bound For West Africa

The first MAGNA machine destined for West Africa is the MT6S mobile scalping screen

 

As part of the agreement, the first MAGNA machine is already on its way to the region – the MT6S mobile scalping screen. Designed for large-scale quarrying, mining, construction and demolition waste, recycling, sand and gravel, coal, ore and aggregate applications, the MT6S is capable of processing up to 800 tonnes per hour. The machine's aggressive 6.1m x 1.83m (20' x 6') screenbox delivers high throughput and efficient material separation, while its versatility allows it to be fed by a mobile crusher, wheel loader or excavator. 

“The MT6S is an excellent fit for our territory, combining high output with versatility across a wide range of applications," added Luke Talbot. “We look forward to supporting customers as they grow and scale their operations."

Launched to address the needs of customers operating at the higher end of the materials processing market, MAGNA has a growing portfolio of crushers, screens and conveyors has been developed for operations requiring increased production capacity and scalability. Today, the range includes equipment designed to support output requirements from large quarrying and mining operations, with many models available in hybrid configurations.
