MAGNA names Mineral Processing Solutions Australia as first distributor appointed globally
MAGNA®, a new Terex brand established to meet the demands of large-scale crushing and screening operations, is pleased to name Mineral processing Solutions (MPS), part of the OPS group, as their first official distributor worldwide. MPS will deliver comprehensive national coverage across Australia, offering MAGNA machine sales, genuine spare parts, and technical service support.
From its headquarters in Perth, Western Australia, MPS brings over 30 years of experience, offering one of the most diverse and extensive ranges of mineral processing and handling equipment in Australia. The company also has locations in Adelaide, Brisbane, Darwin and Melbourne ensuring that there is on-the-ground support for customers nationwide. From process engineering to on-site commissioning, training and maintenance services, the dedicated MPS team is committed to delivering quality and value through our ‘whole of life’ equipment service offering.
MPS is a logical choice for MAGNA, since they have extensive experience representing other Terex brands including Finlay and EvoQuip that cater for compact and mid-sized materials processing needs. The addition of MAGNA large-volume processing equipment will complement the MPS comprehensive portfolio while positioning them to serve customers requiring higher volumes.
"Appointing our first distribution partner worldwide in Australia is a significant milestone for MAGNA, particularly as we target the large-scale demands of the mining, quarrying and construction, industries,” said Neil McIlwaine, Business Line Director for MAGNA. “These industries are often demanding large-volume materials processing machinery, and by aligning with MPS, a distributor who possesses deep local expertise, we are confident in our ability to drive growth and establish a strong presence across Australia."
"Western Australia, the Northern Territories, and South Australia represent significant opportunities for large-volume processing due to their extensive mining, quarrying, and construction activities,” said Shane Czerkasow, Director, OPS Group. “These regions are home to some of the largest mines and quarries in the country, driving a robust demand for high-capacity processing machinery. The vast scale of operations and ongoing development projects in these areas underline the vast potential for MAGNA, through offering reliable, efficient equipment that can handle large volumes and meet the rigorous demands of the industry. Our ability to deliver tailored solutions to these key markets positions us well to capitalise on this substantial opportunity."
