Terex Recycling Systems at IFAT India 2024: A Successful Showcase of Innovative Recycling Solutions

 

Mumbai, October 24, 2024 – Terex Recycling Systems (TRS) kicked off IFAT India 2024 with the debut of the India-built Terex Ecotec TTS 620i Trommel Screen, alongside the powerful TDS 820E Electric Slow Speed Shredder. The TTS 620i Trommel Screen was inaugurated by Mr. Vishal Patel of M/s D H Patel, marking a key moment at the event. As the first-ever innovative tracked trommel machine for recycling solutions made in India, this launch represents a significant milestone in the country's waste management landscape. 

The TTS 620i Trommel Screen offers a highly efficient engine and hydraulic drive system combined with advanced material processing control. Ideally suited for handling legacy waste, compost, biomass, soil, gravel, and various waste types, it delivers maximum production with minimal costs. The event was further highlighted by a ceremonial key handover for both machines to our esteemed customers, demonstrating Terex’s commitment to delivering state-of-the-art equipment to its customers.

The TDS 820E Electric Slow Speed Shredder’s customizable shredding programs and electric/hydraulic hydrostatic drive provide bi-directional shredding and enhanced protection against contamination, making it a popular attraction at the event.

Terex Recycling Systems also presented its modular recycling solutions, which offer scalability and flexibility for various waste processing applications. A scale model of the modular plant was displayed at the stall, further demonstrating Terex’s innovation in recycling solutions.

Key members of Terex’s leadership team, including Kieran Hegarty, President of Terex Materials Processing, and Jaideep Shekhar, Managing Director of Terex India, were present at the event to engage with visitors. Our colleagues David Trimble, Group Engineering Director, and Ronan Horisk, Technical Sales & Applications Product Manager, joined us to share their valuable expertise.

On October 15th, ahead of the show, Amol Sinha, Director, Product & Training, and Ankit Awasthi, Deputy General Manager, represented Terex Recycling Systems as invited panelists. Amol participated in the discussion on "Promoting Waste Utilization in the Indian Cement Industry," while Ankit contributed to the panel on "Reimagining Plastic Production and Disposal." Their participation underscored Terex’s thought leadership in fostering circular economy practices in India.
