C&I waste arises from manufacturing and retail operations. It generally consists of light packaging materials such as card, paper and plastic. It can also consist of other heavier materials such as rigid plastics, ferrous and non-ferrous metals. These materials can either be separated for recycling or combined as an alternative fuel for energy production.
