Informazioni sulle gru a torre Terex

Crane World Asia places large order for Terex tower cranes

ZWEIBRÜCKEN – May 15, 2018 - The quality of Terex tower cranes is clearly highly valued in Asia, as evidenced by the fact that Singapore-based tower crane rental company and Terex tower cranes distributor Crane World Asia (CWA) recently ordered 31 Terex® CTL 260-18 luffing jib tower cranes all at once, as well as 3 Terex CDK 100-16 luffing jib derrick cranes. Another batch of 9 Terex CTL 630B-32, and 1 CTL 650F-45 luffing jib tower cranes will reach South Korea later this year.

“The thing that really sold us on the CTL 260-18 was its powerful performance characteristics, which are demonstrated by its ability to lift over three tonnes at its maximum boom length of 55 meters,” says Roger Poon, Director at Crane World Asia when explaining his company’s purchase decision.

30 of the Terex CTL 260-18 cranes will be delivered to Busan, in South Korea, while the remaining one will go to Hong Kong. “We’ll be delivering the first three cranes in the next weeks, and the other 28 will be delivered throughout the year until the end of October,” Terex Tower Crane Sales Manager Zac Tan reports from Singapore.

CWA’s customers are already looking forward to receiving their models. Mr Woo, Director, SeoHae Tech, who already bought several CTL 260-18 cranes in 2018, says: “The tip load, load moment and load capacity are excellent. Plus it is a very versatile crane”. He adds: “The CTL 260-18 is the most popular we use, it has been a very reliable machine and we are very satisfied with it. This is why we decided to invest in these extra units.”

Mr Eom, Director, MK Tower Co. Ltd, says: “We were looking for a luffing jib tower crane which would cause no downtimes for us, and the CTL 260-18 proves to be very reliable, hence, we have already placed an order for 20 units”.
