It was great to welcome Invest Northern Ireland and their international delegation, including CDRA board members and members, to Paddy Woods & Son Ltd in Co. Tyrone.
With recycling professionals and business owners from across the USA and Canada joining us, it was a fantastic opportunity to share experiences and talk about a challenge facing our industry every day: how we can process C&D waste more effectively, recover more valuable material and put those resources back to use.
Seeing the equipment working first-hand really brought those conversations to life, showing how washing technology can take challenging C&D waste streams and recover quality materials that might otherwise have gone to waste.
It was also a great opportunity to showcase something we’re incredibly proud of: the innovation, expertise and manufacturing capability we have right here in Co. Tyrone. As part of the Terex family, Terex Washing Systems has a global reach, with technology and expertise developed here in Northern Ireland supporting material processing operations around the world.
We may be based on a small island, but the ideas, expertise and equipment developed in this corner of the world continue to make a real impact internationally.
A huge thank you to Invest NI and CDRA for bringing everyone together, and of course to Paddy Woods & Son Ltd for hosting us. It was a brilliant day of conversation, shared experiences and new connections between recycling professionals from both sides of the Atlantic.
