A story of great ideas and constant innovation.
Fuchs – this name not only stands for innovative and highly efficient loading machines of excellent quality, but also for a decades-long history, which is characterized by pioneering achievements in technology. As early as the 1960s, the Fuchs® Bagger 301 was one of the best-selling and most popular excavators, and in 1975, the company received the patent for the newly developed height-adjustable and swiveling cab. So it's no wonder that the spirit of the company is still characterized by great innovative strength.
The first D1 small excavator is presented and awarded a prize in Frankfurt. The German Federal Railroad soon orders 200 machines for loading coal into tank locomotives.
Start of production in Bad Schönborn. With 15,000 units sold, the legendary F 301 is the most popular excavator in the world.
Development of the first hydraulic excavator – awarded “Gute Industrieform" (Good Industrial Form) at the Hanover Trade Fair in 1967.
Patent for another successful idea: the first height-adjustable and swiveling cab. A year later, the 20,000th FUCHS® excavator is delivered. The hydraulic excavators begin their triumphal march.
The versatile F 125 crawler crane becomes an innovation in civil engineering. And a special version of the FUCHS® 712 that is as powerful as it is flexible revolutionizes scrap handling. It drives from deployment to deployment at up to 62 km/h.
Pioneering with the MHL 350.
The decided focus on special loading machine concepts proves to be the right step towards a successful future.
