Informazioni sulle gru a torre Terex

NOTIZIE E STORIE

The first Terex Hydraulic Luffing Jib tower crane: CTLH 192-12

Terex Cranes presents its first Luffing Jib tower crane with HYDRAULIC LUFFING TECHNOLOGY. Specifically designed for inner-city construction sites, this new model reaches the lowest in service and out of service radius, of only 3m and 8m respectively.

“We focused our R&D efforts to develop a model tailor-made on the high demanding markets where space issues are of primary importance and is required to work on constrained areas, even with multiple cranes ” says Lee Maynard, Global Sales Director Towers and RT Cranes.

CTLH 192-12, with a jib length from 25 to 55 m (82 to 180 ft), can deliver a maximum 12 t (13.2 US ton) and up to a 2.35 t (2.59 US ton) load at the maximum 55 m (180 ft) jib length. Terex Cranes’ Terex Power Plus (TPP) function will temporarily allow for an increase of the lifting capacity by approx. 10%, giving the operator extra lifting capacity just at the touch of a button.

The Hydraulic Luffing Technology gives key advantages in terms of reduced occupied space both in service (up to only 3m) and out of service (up to only 8m). But this is not the only advantage.  In fact, this technology also allows the Operator to maneuver the crane with greater precision and readiness, as well as having high performance for lifting significant loads both as maximum and at the jib tip. CTLH 192-12 has also been designed to optimize assembly and dismantling operations, as most of the parts are quickly assembled on the ground and the full crane erection can be completed with few lifts.

Maintenance is also simplified on CTLH 192-12, thanks to the high reliability of all hydraulic components and clever solutions as the auxiliary hydraulic system in addition to the main one to ensure continuity of operation in any condition and the dedicated system for oil cooling and oil heating to keep the unit perfectly operating whatever the external ambient temperatures. For extremely cold temperatures, is available as option a dedicated "low temperature“ oil.

CTLH 192-12 features the ergonomic S-Pace cab with new advanced electronic controls featuring, beside Terex Power Plus function, also the Easy Setup, the Terex Power Match, and is ready for Anti-Collision and Zoning systems. Hoist, slewing and luffing speeds are designed so operators can move and position heavy loads efficiently and precisely. The crane’s new control system features expanded configuration options, allowing the CTLH 192-12 to efficiently and quickly adapt to different jobsite needs.

The new Terex Slewingtechnology enhances the control of the crane on the varying job sites conditions., adjusting the responsiveness of the crane to the operator preferences or e.g. to wind conditions, fine-tuning the speeds, the acceleration and the counter-manoeuvre.

The model can be configured with HD23, TS23, TS21 and H20 masts, from 2.0 to 2.3 m (6.6 to 7.6 ft) widths, and with several options for basement, from foundation anchors to various chassis types from 4.5 m (14.8 ft) to 8 m (26.3 ft) base selections, so customers can efficiently manage component inventory while cost-effectively meeting tower height needs.

The crane can be equipped with optional T-Link Platform for remote control of crane fleet data anytime and from anywhere via web, to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.  A wide range of real time data and a variety of analysis are visualized to assess the fleet’s performance.
