At Terex Washing Systems (TWS), developing talent and creating opportunities for career growth remains a key part of our success. As the business continues to grow, we are pleased to announce an expansion of responsibilities within our Projects, Aftersales, Installation and Commissioning teams.
Jason Smith, Projects & Aftersales Director, has taken on additional responsibility for the Installation and Commissioning function, bringing this important area of the business under his leadership. Since joining TWS at the beginning of the year, Jason has made a strong impact across the Projects and Aftersales teams, drawing on his extensive experience in heavy engineering, project delivery and customer support.
Working alongside Jason is Joshua Laird, Joshua has been promoted to Lead Installation and Commissioning Engineer, who will lead the Installation and Commissioning Team on a day-to-day basis. Joshua plays a hands-on role in ensuring TWS projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. He works closely with Project Management, Engineering and the wider TWS team while providing technical leadership on-site and driving continuous improvement across installation and commissioning activities.
Joshua's own career journey reflects TWS's commitment to developing talent from within. He first joined Terex as part of a university placement within the Design team before returning to the business to join the Commissioning team in June 2025. Having now spent more than two years with Terex, Joshua has built a strong technical knowledge of TWS equipment and established himself as a key leader within the business.
The expanded structure strengthens the connection between project delivery, installation, commissioning and aftermarket support, helping ensure customers continue to receive the highest levels of service throughout every stage of their project journey.
