Coastal Concrete & Quarry upgraded to a Terex Washing Systems sand-washing plant to ensure consistent production and reliable quality. The 154tph plant delivers high-value sand and aggregates, with a design focused on easy maintenance and dependable support through locally available parts and expertise.

 

 

Problem

Concrete & Quarry needed to upgrade its aging sand-washing plant to maintain production and meet customer expectations. The old system was limiting efficiency and reliability, making a modern replacement essential. Issues that needed to be solved included:

Solution

In 2022, Coastal Concrete & Quarry installed a Terex Washing Systems plant, selected for its performance, reliability, and ease of use. Terex Washing Systems and Terex Jaques worked closely with Brown’s team to install and commission the plant to ensure seamless integration into their operations. The new system delivers:

 

  • 154tph of consistent and high-quality sand for Boral and other concrete suppliers
  • Simplified maintenance with no need for specialist training
  • Local parts availability through Terex Jaques in Sydney for fast turnaround
  • Direct support from experienced Terex engineers when required

The upgraded plant delivers high-efficiency performance with minimal labour, allowing Coastal Concrete & Quarry to meet demand while controlling costs. With easy maintenance and strong local support, the operation runs smoothly and consistently. Key outcomes include:
