Terex Features Five Leading Environmental Brands at IFAT 2024

Terex proudly presented a formidable display at IFAT 2024, exhibiting five of its leading environmental brands: Terex Ecotec, CBI, Terex Recycling Systems, ZenRobotics, and the newly launched Green-Tec.

“We had another fantastic IFAT event, where we welcomed our existing customers and distributors, and also engaged with a new range of customers and distributors,” said Tony Devlin, VP of Terex Environmental. “With five environmental industry leaders collaboratively exhibiting together, visitors discovered solutions that meet all of their recycling needs while supporting their own sustainability goals."

Terex Ecotec, which recently celebrated 10 years of providing mobile equipment for the shredding, screening, handling and separating of waste materials, showcased three state-of-the-art waste-processing machines. The TDS 815 slow-speed shredder demonstrated its capabilities in a mixed rubble application within the VDMA area's crushing zone, while the TBG 530T high-speed shredder efficiently processed green waste. A prototype of the enhanced TTS 620 trommel, featuring a range of new benefits to elevate performance and sustainability standards, was also introduced.

In the live demonstrations of VDMA, CBI demonstrated the CBI Magnum Force 5400B. This horizontal grinder offers versatility with four different field-swappable rotors, catering to varying materials and processing demands.

Terex Recycling Systems, known for its modular and stationary solutions for the waste industry, highlighted the installation of its first C&D Waste recycling plant in the UK and a Fines Treatment line in Norway. Visitors were encouraged to discuss the expanding product range, including the TTS-620SE Static Electric Trommel and the upcoming TDS-V20SE Shredder. A 3D model representation of a Terex Recycling Systems C&D sorting plant was also a key attraction.

ZenRobotics, specialising in advanced separation technologies, showcased its Heavy Picker gripper. The team provided insights on the enhanced features and Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities of the newly launched ZenRobotics 4.0, which significantly improves waste sorting efficiency.

Finally, the recently launched Green-Tec displayed its Tree Care Handler while the team outlined their comprehensive product portfolio, designed to meet the needs of customers in tree care and vegetation management.

“IFAT has demonstrated how Terex has assembled an impressive portfolio of brands and products to meet the needs of environmental industries,” added Devlin. “Whether dealing with green waste, construction waste or vegetation, we provide comprehensive recycling solutions while maximising customer return on their investment. A big thank you to all our customers, distributors, and team members for a fantastic show.”
