Richard Currie Joins Fuchs North America as Sales Director of Key Accounts
Fuchs®, the German manufacturer of specialist material handling equipment, has appointed Richard Currie as Sales Director for Key Accounts across North America. In this role, Currie will lead strategic engagement with major scrap recycling operators across the region, with a focus on high‑volume businesses seeking purpose‑engineered material handling solutions.
![]() | Currie brings decades of experience in the scrap recycling industry to Fuchs, having most recently held a senior leadership role at Exodus Global. During his tenure, he played a key role in guiding the company’s commercial expansion and strategic evolution, overseeing a period marked by modernization, increased market penetration, and operational development. His leadership helped reinforce Exodus Global’s position as a reliable and innovative supplier to the scrap and demolition sectors. At Fuchs North America, Currie will focus on strengthening and demonstrating the Fuchs value proposition, underpinned by productivity, durability, and long‑term total cost of ownership advantages. He will work closely with large, national recycling groups to support fleet strategies among operators requiring robust, application‑specific material handlers. |

Fuchs material handlers for the North American market are designed and manufactured at the brand’s centre of excellence in Bad Schönborn, Germany. Currie will be based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and will work closely with the Fuchs North America team and the engineering and manufacturing teams in Germany to support key account customers and drive continued growth across the region.
