About Terex Tower Cranes

Terex Tower Cranes design and manufacturing is fully gathered in the facility of Fontanafredda (Pordenone), a small town in the North East of Italy, equally distant from the Adriatic sea and the Alps, close to Venice. The Fontanafredda plant houses R&D, production, sales, service and parts. A dedicated testing facility located in Polcenigo is the place to test all the new prototypes and technical improvements that we constantly apply on our tower cranes.

Our Italian production includes all range of tower crane products: self erecting, flat top, luffing jib and hammerhead.

Terex Tower Cranes is part of the Materials Processing segment at TEREX CORPORATION, a global manufacturer of aerial work platforms and materials processing machinery. Terex Corporation designs, builds, and supports products used in construction, maintenance, manufacturing, energy, minerals and materials management applications from its facilities spread all over the world in North and South America, Europe, Australia and Asia.

Several Demag and Terex cranes for Australia

ZWEIBRÜCKEN – June 9, 2017 – Terex Cranes recently received orders from seven Australian companies for new cranes. Three of the crane companies, including Mammoet, Brendon Penn Crane Hire and Melmar Cranes, are expanding their fleet with the addition of Terex® MAC 25-4 pick & carry cranes, compact and maneuverable units with an 18-m telescopic boom that can achieve highway speeds. South32 Cannington and Mandurah Crane Hire are adding a versatile Terex AT-22 pick & carry crane with a 22 tonne lift capacity and 17 m maximum hook height. Qwest and JIAB/Caboolture Cranes chose a new 5-axle Demag® AC 130-5 all terrain crane, the most compact machine in its class that boasts an impressive main boom length of 60 m.

“We are thrilled to see our valued customers expanding their fleet of cranes,” says Danny Black, General Manager for Terex Cranes Australia. “Helping our customers be successful is our number one goal; their success is our success. We depend on our customers' feedback to help us continuously improve and develop equipment that will keep them productive, efficient and profitable.”

The recent Terex and Demag crane orders in Australia are scheduled for delivery over the next few months.
