F120 MH - SETTLED INTO EVERYDAY WORK

We are delighted to inform you that the first F120 MH has been successfully delivered to our customer, Freyer, at the Germersheim port in November 2023. Since its delivery, the machine has become an indispensable part of the harbor, carrying out its tasks reliably and efficiently.

The F120 MH is mainly used for loading and unloading ships with a payload between 2,204,622 and 11,023,113 lbs, handling various bulk goods such as gravel, sand, fine gravel, granite stones, scrap, logs, fertiliser, and grain. Thanks to the quick coupling system, the operator can easily switch between different attachments within minutes. The standard Tool Control allows the individual adjustment of oil quantities and pressures for attachments via the display. The integrated rotary motor in the quick coupling system enables the use of attachments without separate rotation drives.

This F120 MH is characterised by its customised robust portal undercarriage and generously dimensioned support area. This ensures secure positioning at the quay wall, even when handling heavy loads with a maximum reach of 88’ 6”. The gantry undercarriage provides an exceptional bird’s-eye view of more than 39’ 4” and is ideal for loading silos. In addition, passing trucks can be loaded quickly and efficiently. A cargo handling capacity of 2,204.620 lbs/h poses no challenge for the machine.

A standout feature of the F120 MH is the Blue Hybrid System, which stores excess energy when lowering the loading equipment to use it in the next loading cycle. Together with thermal regulation that ensures the optimal operating temperature of the hybrid system, the F120 MH achieves the highest of energy efficiency.

The machine is designed to minimize Total Cost of Ownership. Extended oil change intervals and easily performed service activities through the service platform, such as refueling with diesel and AdBlue, as well as refill the grease container, demonstrate this. The diesel tank offers a capacity of more than 50 working hours.

The excellent accessibility of the main components and the alignment of the hose and pipe sizing and laying with a focus on minimal flow resistance and low wear also contribute to this. Impressive cycle times of ≤ 30 seconds at a lifting height of 32'10'' and a swivel angle of 180° underscore the machine's high productivity.

The approval of biodiesel up to HVO100 for the economical and robust Deutz 12-liter V6 engine significantly contributes to further minimizing the CO² footprint.

“Thanks to its massive undercarriage, the F120 MH ensures exceptional stability when working directly at the quay wall. I enjoy an extremely comfortable, well-equipped, and convenient workplace in the Fuchs cabin. The optimal all-around view from the cabin provides a comprehensive overview of the entire surrounding area. The sensitive joystick steering allows for effortless and precise control of the Fuchs “giant.”
