MDS- A Terex Brand Announces Rebrand

A new look and feel logo will accompany the brands update and is in line with the new direction that the company is going in.

History, as with all Terex Brands, remains a very important part of MDS, the colours used in the new logo represent Terex and the values represented by that part of MDS, but the logo also showcases the MDS heavy duty drums. These heavy duty drums are a signature component of the trommels we create, and make us stand out from other conventional screeners. With over a decade of success with our trommel drums, it is only fair to have the drum showcased in the logo.

MDS under Terex is undergoing major positive changes while sticking to its core culture of innovation, product development and keeping customers at the core. Since its founding in 1995 MDS has had a vision to design and develop engineering solutions to industry. This has not and will not change. The highly skilled workforce that has been built over the last 25 years plus will remain, and the focus on our many international customers will remain high. These two factors were the two most important reasons for our rebrand.

We are utilising the different capabilities at Terex to better our product and service offering to our customers. While we follow the Terex Way Values, we stick to our company culture and continue to do business under MDS culture. A culture that promotes thinking outside of the box and coming up with solutions to meet the needs of the market. For our team at MDS idea sharing across all levels and valuing the opinions of every member of the team, from factory floor all the way to top management is something that we see as a very top priority.

Over the last 2 years we have become more flexible as a company, and had to think more laterally about how the needs of our team members have changed. This rebrand has given us the opportunity to take these changes we had to make and solidify them in our own daily functions. This includes making significant improvements to work/life balance and putting health and safety measures in place including improvements in our processes, facilities and equipment. We believe that by introducing these changes in a more long-term format that this will help us to increase our performance and efficiency across the board.

The branding and livery of our machines has remained the same for the last 4 years. This rebrand gives us the opportunity to take a new direction and bring our machines forward into the future of MDS along with us.

Our product line will keep the signature cream livery, whilst introducing the Terex grey into the chassis giving them a two-tone effect. To ensure that going forward they stand out from the crowd, all of our main units will follow the same colouring and branding across the board.
