Neal Hanratty Cup Raises over £4,000 for Charities

The MDS team participated this year in the Neal Hanratty Memorial Cup for the first time, hosted at Omagh Rugby Club. This event resulted in an impressive £4,000 being raised for four different charities - Guide Dogs NI, Air Ambulance, Marie Curie, and Aware. The team thoroughly enjoyed the experience, decked out in their signature MDS football gear, they were raring to compete against other Terex teams in the 7-a-side football tournament.

The event served as a fantastic opportunity for MDS to not only showcase their skills but also to make connections with fellow Terex team members and while victory didn't come our way this time, we still scored big on team spirit and style, rocking it on and off the pitch. In total, 24 teams came together for a day filled with spirited matches, yummy barbecue, and entertainment.

David Tierney, who organised the event, took a moment to extend heartfelt gratitude to team members across Terex. He remarked, “Thank you to all participants, supporters, and volunteers who made the Neal Hanratty Memorial Cup a monumental success. Special thanks to those who generously purchased raffle tickets, donated prizes, and all other contributors who played a role before, during, and after the event.

Colleagues and friends united to cheer for their teammates, all proudly decked out in matching MDS soccer attire, adding an extra touch of unity and spirit to the event. The lively atmosphere was further amplified by the entertainment provided by comedians Fintan Harvey & Ro Boyle, followed by DJ Enda.
