ZenRobotics Expands European Footprint with New Danish Dealer

ZenRobotics, a global leader in robotic waste sorting solutions, has announced a strategic partnership with ReTec Miljø ApS, appointing the Danish company as its official dealer. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in ZenRobotics’ expansion across Europe and reinforces its commitment to driving sustainable waste management practices.

Based in Haderslev, Denmark, ReTec Miljø ApS brings a wealth of experience in the recycling and waste management industry. With a proven track record of providing innovative solutions to its customers, ReTec is an ideal partner to introduce ZenRobotics’ advanced robotic technology to the Danish market.

“We are thrilled to partner with ReTec Miljø ApS,” said Rainer Rehn, Regional Sales Manager at ZenRobotics. “Their deep industry knowledge and strong customer relationships, combined with our cutting-edge robotics, create a powerful synergy. Together, we will address Denmark’s recycling challenges and contribute to a more sustainable future.”

Denmark boasts a well-established recycling system, but there remains untapped potential to optimise material recovery rates. ZenRobotics’ AI-powered robots offer a solution by accurately sorting complex waste streams, recovering valuable recyclables, and reducing landfill waste.

“Becoming a ZenRobotics dealer is a natural progression for ReTec,” said Kjeld Jensen, owner of ReTec Miljø ApS. “We have witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of ZenRobotics technology through the successful implementation of two recycling facilities in Denmark. We will now have a local reference base for advanced robotic sorting. The plant in Roskilde is owned by Solum A/S, and the one in Copenhagen is owned by RGS Nordic. The demand and interest for robotic sorting solutions is growing rapidly, and we are excited to offer our customers the best-in-class technology available.”

With this partnership, ZenRobotics and ReTec Miljø ApS aim to accelerate the adoption of robotic waste sorting in Denmark and contribute to a circular economy.
