Demonstrating the unrivalled maneuverability and transportability it’s famous for - an EvoQuip® Bison™ 120 Compact Jaw Crusher has been delivered to the beautiful and remote L’Isle Aux Moines, France, by barge.
The compact single toggle jaw crusher was supplied to demolition specialist SD OUEST by EvoQuip dealer for Northwestern France, TIPMAT. Founded in 2006, SD OUEST is a company with a proven history in demolition, deconstruction, earthworks and landscaping across Northern France and chose the Bison 120 for its ease of transport, versatility and high throughput performance.
Located in the picturesque region of Brittany, the jobsite required an unusual mode of delivery. Located on an island with no connecting bridge, the only way to transport construction equipment to the island is by barge. With a standing weight of only 12 tonnes, the small and maneuverable crusher was chosen for its low weight and compact size allowing for easy transport on water – something that would be impossible with much larger or heavier machines.
Small enough to fit two in a standard container but strong enough to withstand challenging applications in the most difficult to access jobsites, the Bison 120 is first choice for operators for whom versatility, maneuverability and transportability are of key importance.

Once on site the EvoQuip Bison 120 has an output potential of up to 80 tph (90 US tph) and features a 680mm x 400mm single toggle jaw crusher which can be adjusted hydraulically using the remote control which comes as standard with the machine.
The ability for the jaw to be driven hydraulically allows the customer to reverse the crusher to clear a blockage as well as being able to run in reverse permanently for sticky applications such as asphalt.
The capacity to adjust the jaw setting and operate the plant fully from the remote control allows for a fast and simple set up, meaning the machine can be crushing minutes after being unloaded. With its intuitive operation, quick set-up times, compact size and ease of transport the EvoQuip Bison 120 is an ideal solution for compact crushing.
