It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our friend and colleague, Mr. Ronnie Bustard. Ronnie passed away on Monday 13th February, 2023.

On behalf of the ‘Finlay Family’ we send our deepest condolences to his wife, Shelley and his three children, Ryan, Jake and Bella, his parents and wider family circle at this difficult time.

We mourn with them and celebrate the extraordinary life and achievements of a dear friend and colleague who has passed too soon.

Ronnie was a gentleman who devoted his professional life to the crushing and screening industry. He started his lifelong affinity with Finlay in our Omagh factory before taking the opportunity to join Finlay Screening and Crushing Services in Australia. In a testament to his dedication and experience, he progressed through the company to the position of Sales and Hire Manager.

Here, his exemplary work and continued commitment to Finlay was deeply valued, as seen in this picture when he picked up two awards on behalf of Finlay Screening and Crushing Services at our Global Dealer Conference in Florida, 2018.

Everyone who worked with Ronnie over the years will remember him as an extraordinary and accomplished expert who, through everything he did, demonstrated his passion, exceptional work ethic, and long-term commitment to his customers and the manufacturers he dealt with.

We will all miss his humour, quick wit and ‘can do – will do’ attitude that embodied the passion and enthusiasm he embraced in every aspect of his life.

He loved life and will be sorely missed by everyone who had the pleasure to know him. We all wish we had more time together with him, but will always value the time we did have.
