Best memory of working at Franna? There are so many, one that stands out is the development of the MAC25 and watching it become our most popular crane and operating the crane during the prototype load testing phase.

What position(s) have you held during your service? I have covered a few different roles including mechanical design engineer, product support manager and national service manager over 27 years!

Favourite thing about your job? My favourite thing about my job is the people I work with both locally and interstate. I have a lovely group of people who are always willing to help each other when needed.

What position(s) have you held during your service? During my time I been a part of every assembly section, from receiving parts into the store, assembling the cranes, to loading them on the back of a truck ready for the customer.

How do you like to spend your time outside of work? A lot of hobbies - large aquariums, large fur baby, fishing, camping, 4X4ing, hunting, competition shooting, motorcycle cruising, cooking in general, BBQ, grilling, rotisserie.

Paul Olsen, owner and director of Brolga Cranes had a vision of starting his own crane business but getting support from the banks proved difficult. With support from the local business community, he managed to finance his first Franna.
