MDS Roll Out T-Link - Telematics System

As part of our commitment to continuous improvement and enhancing our offering to our dealers, we are pleased to announce the roll out of our T-Link Telematics system as a standard feature on all MDS machines from January 2024.

T-Link allows Dealers and end users the ability to stay connected to their fleet at all times. This allows monitoring of machine usage, critical machine information as well as optimising machine performance and performing remote operator support.

For Dealers who already have access to T-Link, any MDS machines that ship to you from January 2024 will show up on your T-Link home page and you can access and monitor like any of your other Terex machines. Your login details will remain as your current login.

For dealers who are new to T-Link, we will issue login details and we will distribute an introductory training presentation. Following on from that, as soon as you are due to receive your first machine equipped with telematics, we will set up a video conference with your team and our dedicated T-Link specialists to run you through the system and give you the opportunity to ask questions.

Key Features of T-Link:

  1. Enhanced Machine Uptime: T-Link ensures that your machines operate at peak efficiency, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.

  2. Enhanced Machine Management: The telematics system facilitates comprehensive management, offering real-time insights into the hours, location, and operational status of each machine in your fleet.

  3. Enhanced Security and Visibility: T-Link provides robust security features, safeguarding your equipment while offering unparalleled visibility into machine activities.

  4. Cost Minimization: By streamlining operations and providing valuable data for analysis, T-Link enables businesses to minimize costs and optimize resource allocation.

How T-Link Works:

T-Link operates by connecting to a network of global positioning satellites, allowing operators to access and download machine data regularly via cellular and satellite networks. The system is activated on the machine, and data can be accessed from anywhere via a web-based portal on a PC, smartphone, or tablet.

The dual-band network, utilizing both cellular and GPS technologies, ensures seamless communication between the machine and the T-Link data center. The collected data is then stored for the lifetime of the equipment, providing a comprehensive historical record for analysis and comparison.

Why Choose T-Link? Data at Your Fingertips, 24/7:

The T-Link data center acts as a repository for all harvested data, ensuring that valuable information is readily available whenever needed. From basic fleet management details to machine-specific alerts and production tracking, T-Link offers unparalleled access to critical data, empowering businesses to make informed decisions and foster growth.

T-Link represents the MDS remote monitoring and fleet management system, integrating the machines' inbuilt CANbus control system with satellite positioning and telematics software. This seamless combination provides a holistic approach to fleet management, catering to the fundamental needs of businesses while offering advanced features to stay ahead in the competitive landscape.

As industries strive for greater efficiency and sustainability, T-Link emerges as a pivotal tool to meet these evolving demands. It not only revolutionizes fleet management but also empowers businesses to make data-driven decisions, ultimately propelling growth in an increasingly competitive market.
