Carl F uses robots to ensure efficient waste sorting

 

Carl-Fredrik Jönsson is the Operational Manager at Carl F and is simply fascinated by the automated waste sorting solution ZenRobotics has offered them. “Carl F is a waste company: we collect, sort and recycle waste. The materials come to us mixed, but with the ZenRobotics system we can sort different waste fractions, based on which materials we want to recycle at the moment”, Jönsson explains.

Boosting efficiency with one of a kind AI solution

 

Carl F has been operating two ZenRobotics robot arms since 2017 and decided to add a third arm in the summer of 2019 to boost their sorting efficiency. Jönsson is excited about the possibilities it offers them, as their employees don’t need to do the work manually in harsh conditions anymore.

Since Carl F started to use AI-driven robots to sort the waste, they have the option to remotely control the system. Even when I’m sitting at home on my couch, I can monitor and operate the robots remotely. The process is super simple also on-site: We only need to push one button and it works, Jönsson concludes with a smile on his face.
