Terex CEO John Garrison visits CBI headquarters

NEWTON, NH - John Garrison, Terex Corporation CEO, visited CBI headquarters for the first time this week. He had the opportunity to meet with team members at all levels of the organization.

Neal Nowick, General Manager of CBI, provided him with a full tour of the facility and a detailed overview of the CBI business strategy.

The CBI team gave Garrison a personal demonstration of the 6800BT Horizontal Wood Grinder--which clearly earns the Terex namesake and roots of “king of the earth.” Weighing in at 85,000 pounds and 1050 horsepower, the 6800BT out-produces, out-performs, and outlasts the competition.

"CBI drives accountability in all areas of business through daily stand-up meetings and reviews of the “Big 5”: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale," Garrison said. "The CBI team knows the score and is executing to win! They’re also excited about the Terex Transformation and our strategic priorities (Commercial Excellence, Strategic Sourcing, and Services, Parts & Lifecycle Solutions), and look forward to incorporating these processes and tools."

Garrison also held several “skip-level” meetings with team members and an all-hands town hall meeting, where people asked great questions about how CBI fits into the Materials Processing segment and into Terex overall.
